Laura knelt down in between her parents graves. She wondered what it would be like if they were brought back to life. She knew that the 1st thing they would do was find her. She wished that could happen but even in a magical world she knew that it couldn't.

She heard footsteps. Someone was walking past. She looked up to see...

Alex, with a bundle of flowers to put on her grandparent's grave. It was the only way her mother was letting her out of house these days, with a good excuse, like putting flowers on a grave. Ginny was still acting oddly. Alex spotted Laura lying in between two graves and raised her eyebrows. "Hey Laura, what are you doing?" she asked.

"Oh hi Alex" Laura said quickly. She was deep in thought and she hadn't expected to see someone. "I'm just visiting someone." She hoped she wouldn't ask who. She hated explaining it. She liked to keep it to herself.

"Oh, who?" Alex asked, figuring it was just a distant relative, like what Alex herself was doing. She put half the flowers down on the grave marked Lily Potter, and half on the one reading James Potter. She had never known them, but Alex liked to pretend that she knew them personally.

Oh crap she did ask who. She didn't want to tell her but she couldn't find a way around it. Well she was stuck now. "Um... um...." A tear dripped from her eye. "m-my my par-parents."

Alex jumped at this information, very surprised that Laura's parents were dead and she was visiting their graves. Alex turned from her grandparents' graves to face Laura. "Oh my gosh, I'm so sorry," she burst out, wanting to hug Laura, but knowing that she didn't know her well enough to do that.

"Don't be" Laura replied. "Never feel sorry about anything. Whether it's you, someone you know or someone you've herd of. Every life is how it's meant to be and there is always someone who has it worse."

"But I can still be sorry," Alex persisted, wondering what was up with Laura. "Because you have it worse. And I'm truly sorry that you lost your parents. I couldn't even imagine what that would be like." Alex suppressed a shudder at the thought. Though her parents were annoying at times and kicked her sister out of the house, Alex still loved them. It would be terrible if they died. And where would she go?

"Don't be" she bagged. "Please Please don't be." She hated it when others felt sorry for her. It made her feel guilty of their worrying and gave her unwanted attention. She hated it even more when others offered her things. That was even worse.
